The fuel injection wire harness is the dedicated bundle that connects the injectors, fuel pressure regulator, throttle position sensor, and related fuel delivery sensors directly to the ECM. On some engines it's a sub-harness that plugs into the main engine harness. It runs along the intake manifold and down to each injector, and heat from the manifold combined with oil vapor from the valve covers degrade it over time.
